The NSCAD strike has come to an end.

After more than two weeks of NSCAD employees walking picket lines in front of the downtown campus, a majority of unionized staff voted 89 per cent in favour of arbitration.

That is according to CUPE 3912 in a statement over the weekend, noting workers will be back on the job on Monday.

The union represents 68 staff at the university for the winter 2026 semester.

Few other details were given but the union says it will provide more information once the agreement is finalized.

Workers went on strike looking for higher wages and job security on March 4.
