Drivers will need to find off-street parking once again on Monday night in the Halifax area.
The municipality says it will continue to enforce the overnight winter parking ban, meaning vehicles must be off the streets between 1 a.m and 6 a.m. overnight into Tuesday morning.
“Vehicles hanging out of a driveway or parked on the sidewalk are prone to damage and become a dangerousobstacle for crews,” read a media release from the HRM. “Such obstacles prevent crews from clearing the sidewalks properly, which can quickly become an accessibility issue for pedestrians, including seniors, people with mobility issues and parents pushing strollers.”
The parking ban will be enforced in both the central and non-central zones.
Halifax and the surrounding area saw another round of snowy weather on Sunday night, leaving some roads snow covered.
