For a third night in a row, Haligonians will need to find alternatives to parking on the street.
The municipality says the overnight winter parking ban will be enforced again on Tuesday night, following a long-duration snowfall to begin the work week.
The ban means on-street parking is not allowed between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. to allow for snow-clearing operations to have access to roadways. It is being enforced in both the central and non-central zones.
Halifax Regional Police said it had issued 507 tickets and removed 11 vehicles for defying the parking ban on Sunday night. The tickets come with a fine of around $85.
